Every once in a while I hear of a guy who idolizes Jerks.
I have to wonder about this sort of man.
These guys think it is somehow cool to collect DUIs, lie to their girl friends about other women, take advantage of their boss, and otherwise engage in behavior that most of society thinks is less than decent.
While many men who are behaving without honor or any sense of morality or civilty at least acknowledge they are inappropriate, there are those guys who cheer on the misdeeds, and applaud, even idolize the not-so-great men of the world. They think breaking the law, harming others for a laugh, or bullying is somehow a great thing!
This sort of idolization and celebration is a BIG clue that the guy is not a great man.
Take note!
Guys who cheer on other men who are Jerks, are not great men and will not make for a great husband or significant other!
There are great men who speak out about indecent, cruel, crass and crude behavior. Men who speak out against abuse. Men who reject the disgusting behavior of other not-so-great men. Men who do not want these less than great men representing what it means to be a real man!
These are the great men!
And if you are a great woman, you deserve one of these fabulous guys!

um...well stated. it goes a long way to recognize that the company we keep can define us. Not to mention that the desire to glorify bad behavior is an indicator that ...if given the means, would be how that person deals with the same life situations.
