How to Tell if a Guy is a Jerk - Tip 40 - Taking Advantage of Others

how to tell if a guy is a jerk, taking advantage of others, finding a great man
Today I had my oil changed at the neighborhood oil changing place! The mechanics there are great, and keep track of the services I need and when I need them.

Today, one of the guys told me that in the near future I will need my tires rotated, new transmission fluid, and a few other services. I trust these guys and know they are keeping my car working well.

Unlike times in my past where service guys have deliberately tried to take advantage of my lack of auto knowledge!

Now, we all know the way to not be taken advantage of is to learn about cars, nevertheless, guys who try to rip off those with less knowledge are just plain not great guys!

Something about guys who want money so badly that they are willing to financially hurt their clients because their clients may have less knowledge and they can get away with it speaks to a not-so-nice trait!

Best find those great guys who treat others respectfully, whether they know them or not.

Guys who are honest and trustworthy even when they could easily take advantage of another speaks volume of their decency and integrity!

Hello Jennifer,

heyyyyyyyy, Jen.

Great post topic. I took my son's godmother to pick up her car from a mechanic that tried to charge her $186 for a $95 part and $114 for a $45 part. I called around as soon as she told me what the problem was and was going to charge her $75/hr labor. I immediately demanded that we go pick up her car, the parts from auto zone and the dearler and have a mechain that I use put them on. It saved her over $250 including the tow charge.

great post...be aware, ladies.

Very good post. I cannot even imagine how most car mechanics get and keep a date, so many of them are dishonest!

Thank you so much for your support and encouragment!

I especially am happy when guys get the lightheartedness of this blog...

I'm doing my best to keep it positive and encouraging while giving women a little challenge to pick the great men out there!

I appreciate your amazing respect toward women... it is VERY inspirational! Keep it up!

Blessings always,

Hey DC... Fabulous example!

Unfortunately, I hear about women getting ripped off fairly often!

I think if these guys who took advantage of those with less knowledge took a minute to think how they would feel if it was their grandmother they were hurting they may think differently!

Ya know? :-)

Thanks DC...

JJ
