I've been away from my computer due to a houseful of guests and a family wedding.
During the festivities of the past week, I have had a chance to interact with a number of men, all of whom were fabulous examples of great guys!
At times I hear women complain that there are no great guys or that all men are jerks.
It is just not so.
Time and time again, over the past week I have encountered truly great men who are mature, compassionate, sincere, and respectful of women. Guys who want a good life, a healthy relationship, and who are wanting to contribute to the world.
All I can say is that there are great guys out there.
Regardless of what the media often portrays, regardless of past negative experiences, regardless of some crude and selfish stereotypes of "real men"... there are fabulous available men that would make for a great partner!

I'm trying to help women focus on what truly matters.
In our culture, seems lots of women overlook the truly great guys, pick "jerks" (smile), and wonder what happened?

I totally agree!
I think that women attract the kind of man that fits their view of themselves.
For years I had a negative self image and every guy I dated was a jerk.
I forced myself to stay single for 1 year and really discover who I am and what I want.
I have met an amazingly wonderful man who isnt perfect but who is perfect for ME!
There are great guys out there but you have to love yourself before they can find you.
A great guy isnt going to want a girl who isnt great as well.
