Keeping Women in Their Place.....

In a society beginning to have equal rights under the law, in a society where women are finding a place in previously exclusively male fields... what could keep us down? What is holding us back? What could keep us from blossoming, using our strength, creativity, and unique gifts to change the world? What is it that is stopping us from embracing the equality that is now available to us for the first time in the history of humankind?

How to keep women in their place.

1. Inundate the culture with images of perfect, airbrushed female bodies so girls and women always feel unattractive, unappealing, and ugly, and so men will be unsatisfied with normal and average women.

2. Create a "need" for women to spend so much time and energy on their appearance, dress, and bodies, that they do not use their financial power, and true energy to impact the world in positive and healthy ways.

3. Regardless of how amazing a women politician or businesswoman is, focus on her dress and hairstyle. Always make her sex the issue. If she fails blame it on her womanness, if she succeeds blame it on her male associates.

4. No matter how incredible a female athlete, artist, or musician is, focus on her latest romance or shopping spree. Never appreciate her unique talent and gift.

5. Fill the media with sleazy, tawdry women who are known for nothing but their bodies and unhealthy lifestyles. Focus the news on these types of women rather than the many women who contribute to this world in powerful ways. Keep women thinking all woman are salacious, inappropriate, and out of control.

6. Give little girls dolls and toys that create an image of their worth being associated with their sexuality and how much boys like them. Give them role models who are focused on sex and how much men adore them.

7. Produce advertisements that show how appropriate it is to ogle a woman's body, how women find their only sense of self through a man staring at her breasts, and how worthless unattractive girls and women are in the eyes of males.

8. Create restaurants and other places of entertainment where women can earn more money if they show their bodies to men. In other words, create the image that power comes to women through their value to men.

9. Keep girls and women so unhappy with their bodies that they become sick and develop anorexia and bulimia. Keep them in a state of self loathing with a horrible body image.

10. At all costs do not show women as valuable contributors to the human race. Keep them focused on their bodies and always make sure they feel their only worth is in how sexually appealing they are to men.
