How to Tell if a Guy is a Jerk - Tip 35 - Unscrupulous Cult or Religious Leaders

There is nothing worse than a man claiming to be a spiritual leader, who takes advantage of humble, sincere, loving followers.

Throughout history, we have example after example of men who claim to be in communion with God who demand or command devotees give their money, possessions, and sometimes their bodies or lives to them, to prove devotion or obedience to God.

Occasionally I hear of religious or cult leaders requiring payment for prayers, only to use the money to improve their already lavish lifestyle.

Unscrupulous men who prey on the vulnerability of those who are in need of solace, who take advantage of those in need of healing, who take for themselves much needed resources from the most humble in the name of God, are not holy men nor are they men who deserve any form of respect and honor.

They are cruel, dishonest, and unworthy of any decent woman.
