What is a "perfect man" anyway?
We are human beings... and that means we are doing our best to manage life, find happiness, and cope with our challenges.
This is not an easy task and none of us are perfect at it.
We make poor decisions and we engage in unhealthy behavior. We just do. Try as we might we make mistakes.
But great men learn from their mistakes, work at being a good human being, want to be a decent contributing member of society, and avoid harming others. They have a sense of care and understanding for humankind. They value their friends and family.
This site is not about finding a "perfect" man... it is about finding a great man.

I like the way you speak fairly and clearly. We women are not perfect; how can we expect to find a man who is perfect? But as you say, there are men who are caring, honest, and working at it. A man who knows what his limitations are and can protect his boundaries and respect others' boundaries is a wise man.

Yeah... I know quite a few women who are so picky that no one could possibly be good enough... We are not perfect, why should we think men are going to be? :-)
uch "perfect" how boring, those fellas who pretend to be perfect are just kidding themselves. How about admitting he's not perfect and let's go from there! my hubby has learned not to bs me cause I know when he's lying and I tell him when he's being less than honest. neither of us is perfect and when we are willing to admit it our disagreements simply fade.
Yeah, who wants some pretend, story book guy? We want a REAL MAN! :-)
Amen. To hell with perfect! Why act like you are? When you ready to share just about everything but the kitchen sink with us, get off the couch from watching "the game," and spend some quality time, you let us know. For now, we good by ourselves, thank you.
