Guys that hurt children are sick!
I should not even have to mention this tip because it seems so self evident but alas I still hear of women hooking up with these monsters. I know women who protect abusers while children suffer.
We as a world need to step up and protect our children. Ladies, there are no excuses for not protecting children. None.
Much of this site is lighthearted and playful, this post is as solemn and serious as it can get.
Any man who would harm a child is sick and needs removal from society and serious help.
If you know a man who is harming a child, it is your duty, your obligation, your responsibility as a human being to protect the child.
There are those women who witness brutality toward children but protect their abusive spouse. Please, if you are in this situation,... please get some help. Please understand the need to put children's safety first. Please know there is help.
There is no reason, no justification, no rationalization for protecting abusers.
Guys that hurt children need to be restrained. Period. Guys that commit these atrocities need all of us to stop them.
We must protect our children.

Jennifer, thank you so much for posting about children!!! It's far too easy for women in the cycle of abuse to be blind to both physical and mental abuse of their children.
I know of a couple who is divorcing. The father kicked the mother and children out of their home, so fortunately they live far away from him. However, she divorced him and he now tells his young children bizarre lies about their mother over the phone. She feels she needs to support the relationship because he can't hurt them from a distance.
So not true. Mental abuse is even harder for abused women to see than physical abuse, but it is just as destructive in many ways...
